Russia has the right to make a military response after the downing of a Russian warplane earlier this week by NATO member Turkey, lower house speaker Sergei Naryshkin has said, according to Ukraine Today.
Sergei Naryshkin called the incident "a preplanned and targeted murder of Russian servicemen."
"It is a crime that must be punished," he said, adding that "in line with international law Russia has the right to military response."
