Russian ships detained at Turkish port - media
Turkey detained four Russian ships at a Black Sea port for maritime safety violations, Ukrainian online newspaper Europeiska Pravda reported with reference to Turkish newspaper Hurriyet Daily News.
The reason for detention was the lack of necessary documentation, according to the report.
As of now, three of four Russian ships departed the port after making necessary repairs, the officials said. One remaining ship is still held at the port until correcting safety violations.
According to Aydin Unal, a port director, it was a "routine inspection."
