The Ukrainian side calls on to intensify dialog on bilateral agreements

President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko claims that Ukraine is alarmed with a number of incidents, connected with the stay of Russian troops at its territory.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he claimed this to journalists commenting on the results of his meeting with Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev on Friday.

Victor Yushchenko stressed that the Ukrainian side believes necessary to intensify dialog within frames of fulfilling Ukrainian-Russian agreements, in particular, in the military sphere.

“I proved to the Russian President that we have many vexing moments, discrediting good relations within frames of this decision”, Victor Yushchenko said.

In particular, the Ukrainian President recalled that in April of the current year a Russian missile was found at the Ukrainian territory. Besides, according to Victor Yushchenko, an order must be introduced into the issue of dislocation and re-dislocation of Russian military units. “We are alarmed with the issues of illegal use of real estate and lands”, the Ukrainian President noted. At the same time, he stressed the matter concerns the use of resources not by state institutions, but by private structures.

Victor Yushchenko emphasized that all these issues must be discussed at a bilateral level.
