President Victor Yushchenko took part in an informal Summit of CIS Heads of States, which took place in St. Petersburg, Russia, according to the President`s press-office.
The agenda of the Summit included a wide variety of questions regarding cooperation among the member states of Commonwealth of Independent States.
Separately participants were scheduled to discuss the date for the next CIS Summit to be held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
