Amnesty International researched remotely more than 25 attacks between Sep 30 and Nov 29, 2015, that killed at least at least 200 civilians, striking homes, a mosque and a busy market, as well as medical facilities, according to witnesses and human rights activists.

In one of the deadliest attacks documented in the briefing three missiles were fired on a busy market in the centre of Ariha in Idleb governorate killing 49 civilians.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Russia launched its aerial military campaign in Syria on September 30, stating that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad requested assistance. The western powers have repeatedly accused Russia of hitting Syria’s moderate opposition, whom the West supports, instead of the IS.
