"The missile brigade equipped with Iskander-M tactical ballistic missile systems was raised on alarm within a sudden inspection of the combat readiness. The divisions of the brigade are now marching in designated areas at the Totsky training ground. During the inspection, the command will grade the performance of a training march, the ability to fulfill quickly the tasks assigned," the press service said.
The Iskander-M tactical ballistic missile system is equipped with both cruise and ballistic missiles. Combat use of the system is possible in the temperature range from 50 degrees below zero to 50 degrees above zero at a distance of 500 km.
