In Lisbon President Victor Yushchenko took part in opening of the Street of Ukraine, honoring Ukrainians, who contributed to Portuguese capital’s development, according to the President`s press-office.
“It is a great honor for me to open a Street of Ukraine. It is appreciation of Ukrainian presence in Portugal and of the role it Plays in modern Portuguese history”, said Victor Yushchenko in his speech at the event.
