Ukraine interested in agreement on social protection with Portugal - Yushchenko

At his press availability in Lisbon President Yushchenko stressed that Ukraine is highly interested in signing an agreement with Portugal on social protection of our citizens at its territory, according to the President`s press-office.

“The agreement is currently being worked on… It is the Governments’ jurisdiction”, said Victor Yushchenko, adding that he is about to bring up this question during his meeting with Prime Minister of Portugal.

He also expressed hope that the agreement itself could be signed during President Silva’s visit to Ukraine, who President Yushchenko invited to visit our country.
