Today, in the framework of a working visit of Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko to the Republic of Poland, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine on European and International Integration Hryhoriy Nemyria, who stays within the delegation, held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Poland Grzegorz Schetyna. According to the government’s press-office, the meeting dealt with considerig of issues concerning improvement of crossing of Ukrainian-Polish border, the state of resuming of single customs and border control between the two states, problems of modernization of present cross-boder checkpoints between Ukraine and Poland and building of new ones.

Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Hryhoriy Nemyria also held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Economics Minister Waldemar Pawlak. In the course of the meeting the parties have discussed the state of implementation of the decisions adopted during the II sitting of Intergovernmental Economic Cooperation Commission, led by the two Vice Prime Ministers, and the process of preparation to the following sitting of the Commission. The interlocutors have also touched upon urgent issues of trade-economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.
