A working group of Coast Guard services of Georgia, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Turkey and Romania had a meeting in the Georgian town of Batumi on Tuesday, according to Itar-Tass.

The sides signed a memorandum on cooperation in the non-proliferation of radioactive substances and components of weapons of mass destruction.

On Wednesday the delegations will take a look at new technologies of radioactive materials’ detection in Batumi and Poti seaports.
