A special plane with humanitarian relief for Georgia on board could not fly out of Kyiv.

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Ohryzko disclosed this to TV 5 Kanal.

According to his information, Turkey closed its air corridor, and the plane could not have landed in Georgia.

V.Ohryzko expressed a hope that the plane will nevertheless fly to Georgia on Monday.

Meanwhile, regular flights from Tbilisi land in Kyiv. Russia closed air communication with Georgia, and people willing to get to Moscow have to fly via Kyiv.

As UNIAN reported earlier, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko commissioned the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to provide Georgia with humanitarian relief, first of all, to supply suffered civilians with medicines.
