Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili on Monday signed a European Union-backed peace proposal that will be presented to Russia, a senior Georgian security official told AFP."President Saakashvili, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner and Finnish Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb signed a document, which is a summary of a peace proposal.... This document will be presented to the Russian leader," said the secretary of the security council, Alexander Lomaia.
