Ukraine and USA praise high dynamics of bilateral dialogue

Today President Victor Yushchenko held a meeting with United States Senator Richard Lugar.

At the meeting sides discussed situation around Russian-Georgian conflict and strengthening of security in Euro-Atlantic area. Both officials agreed that international community should unite efforts aimed at protection of Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Speaking about bilateral relations between Ukraine and the USA sides praised high dynamics of bilateral dialogue and successful realization of a number of security and non-proliferation programs.

Beside that Richard Lugar informed Victor Yushchenko about events of presidential election campaign in the US.
