Speaking to journalists in Rome President Victor Yushchenko stressed that he is satisfied with the results of his visit to Italy, according to the President`s press-office.
President informed that at his meeting with the Prime Minister of Italy Silvio Berlusconi, the latter agreed to visit Ukraine and hold Ukrainian-Italian business forum.
He also said that discussion of Ukrainian labor migrants’ status in Italy with the Italian leadership was fruitful. Here sides agreed to sign a number of intergovernmental agreements regulating the question.
Victor Yushchenko also expressed appreciation of Italian side`s understanding of Ukraine`s attempts to promote international recognition of the Great Famine and said that leaders of the two Italian parliament chambers have agreed to put the question on their agenda.
According to President in a subject of Ukraine`s European and Euro-Atlantic integration the sides have also found agreement with Italian leadership stressing support to these aspirations of Ukraine.
