Ukraine, EU start fourth round of talks on free trade area

IV round of negotiations on free trade area between the EU and Ukraine will be held in Brussels on October 20-24, 2008, according to the Mission of Ukraine to European Communities.

 Ukraine’s delegation will be headed by Mr.Valeri Pyatnytskiy, Deputy Minister for Economy of Ukraine, while the EU Delegation is lead by Mrs.Eva Synowiec, EC DG Trade Director.

 The parties are to focus on several parts of the future agreement between Ukraine and the EU to regulate tariff offer, intellectual property rights, sustainable development, public procurement, services, customs and trade facilitation.
