President meets Polish leader

In Donetsk President Victor Yushchenko met with the President of Poland Lech Kaczynski, according to the President`s press-office.

During the meeting sides talked over bilateral relations between Ukraine and Poland, particularly preparation to holding EURO 2012, world financial crisis impact on both countries, European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine, trans-boarder cooperation, energy security, etc.

At later joint press conference of the two Presidents, President Yushchenko suggested involving eastern regions of Ukraine more in Ukrainian-Polish economic and trade cooperation because there most of Ukrainian industrial potential is situated.
