Ukraine’s bid to enter NATO not aimed against Russia – Ohryzko

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Ohryzko claims that Ukraine’s bid to enter NATO is not aimed against Russia.

According to an UNIAN’s own correspondent to Brussels, he claimed this to journalists on Wednesday, before beginning the NATO-Ukraine Commission session.

“None of Ukrainian politicians has ever said or stated that the Ukrainian path towards NATO somehow threatens Russian interests”, the Ukrainian Minister noted.

He also expressed a hope that Russia will treat Ukraine’s joining NATO with understanding.
