Lech Kaczynski is currently visiting the Climate Conference in Poznan, western Poland, where Donald Tusk is now supposed to arrive by government plane. Then both politicians will move on to Brussels for the European Union Summit.

According to the media, Donald Tusk has approved of the flight.

Planes have seemed to be a curse for politicians in recent times. Before the previous European Union summit, Polish Prime Minister and President could not decide who was to fly in the government plane, which resulted in Lech Kaczynski chartering another one.

A more recent mishap took place in Asia during the president`s trip, when the government plane Tu-154 had a defect detected and was stalled in Mongolia.

During the two-day summit in Brussels, politicians will hold talks on methods to cut carbon emissions.
