AT least 17 people were killed and three injured when a bus on its way to the capital La Paz plunged into a ravine during a hailstorm, police said today, Agence France-Presse via The Australian.
The bus drove off the cliff late Saturday into a ravine 100 metres deep "during a heavy hailstorm", Lieutenant Bryan Gonzalez, in charge of investigating the accident said.
The dead, which include at least three children, have not yet been identified.
