Foreign Minister hopes for financing to improve Ukraine’s image
And for programs on better informing the population about NATO
Foreign Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Ohryzko hopes that the state budget-2009 will stipulate financing for improving the Ukraine’s image abroad and programs on better informing the population about NATO.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this in his end-of-year interview Thursday.
“I will do my best to develop the image program, and the program on informing the population”, the Minister said.
“Let’s better spend less on trips”, he added.
In the year 2008, the Foreign Ministry had 15 million hryvnias [~$1.8-2 million] for the program on creating a positive image of Ukraine abroad.
