EU exec sees little or no Russian gas flowing to Europe
The European Commission said
Little or no Russian gas is flowing to the European Union via Ukraine despite an agreement by Russia to resume supplies on Tuesday, the European Commission said, Reuters reported.
"Our information is that little or no gas is currently flowing," a spokesman for the EU executive said. "The situation is very difficult on the ground.
"Commission representatives ... are working extremely hard to persuade both Russian and Ukrainian authorities to release as much gas as possible through as many entry points as possible. Europe needs the gas urgently."
