EU's Piebalgs: gas row will not harm EU-Ukraine ties

The European Union`s energy commissioner, Andris Piebalgs, reassured Ukraine on Tuesday that its row with Russia over gas supplies would not harm Brussels`s relations with Kiev, according to Reuters.

"I am sure this issue will not affect EU-Ukrainian relations," he told a news briefing alongside Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
