Russia to halt flights safety memo with U.S. in Syria – Russian media
Russia's Foreign Ministry has announced a halt to the memorandum on preventing incidents and ensuring flights safety during operations in Syria, which was earlier signed with the United States, in the wake of a U.S. strike on the Syrian airbase, according to the Russian news agency TASS.
"The Russian side is suspending the memorandum on preventing incidents and ensuring flights safety during operations in Syria signed with the U.S.," the ministry said, TASS wrote.
"We're urging the UN Security Council to hold an emergency meeting to discuss the current situation," the ministry said.
