EU envoys not to discuss Apr 12 sanctions against Russia over events in Syria – journalist

The ambassadors of the European Union will not consider tomorrow, April 12, the issue of imposing sanctions against the Russian military due to their actions in Syria, according to RFE/RL correspondent in Brussels Rikard Jozwiak.

"EU sanctions on military personnel from Russia over events in Syria will not be discussed when EU ambs meet tomorrow," Jozwiak wrote on Twitter on April 11, 2017.
