Ukraine was to blame for the gas crisis last month and bears responsibility for compensating any losses incurred as a result of it, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said Thursday, AFP reported.
"Financial and legal responsibility is on Ukraine. Responsibility for any losses rests with them," Medvedev said after meeting with the president of Bulgaria, which has demanded compensation for disruption caused by the crisis.
