Ukraine did not plan to take part in the Riga NATO Summit during November 28-29.

Chief of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s press-service Andriy Deshchytsia claimed this at a press conference in Kyiv today.

“The information that Ukraine was not invited to the Riga Summit due to the delay of signing the NATO Membership Plan, is groundless. From the very beginning Ukraine did not plan to take part in the Summit, as the it will focus on the issues of the internal transformation of the Alliance, and only NATO member states will take part in it”, A.Deshchytsia claimed.
