The "Playboy — I Read It For The Art" auction will offer up 17 original drawings and illustrations from the Chicago-based magazine`s archives, according to AP via International Herald Tribune.
The pieces will be available both online and onsite at Dallas-based Heritage Auction Galleries on March 12.
The auction will include works by artists including pinup king Alberto Vargas and Will Elder.

A "Little Annie Fanny" comic strip by Harvey Kurtzman and Jack Davis will also be available.
In October, the same number of pieces at the "Playboy: The Art of Beauty" auction brought in $230,000.
