To mark the fiftieth anniversary of the Hungarian revolution

Accompanied by Deputy Secretariat Chief of Staff Oleksandr Chalyy, Victor Yushchenko and his wife have gone to Budapest to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the Hungarian revolution, according to the President`s press-office.

Mr. Yushchenko is expected to meet with his Hungarian colleague, Laszlo Solyom, NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, and Portuguese President Anibal Cavaco Silva.

The President will also meet with Hungarian business leaders and representatives of the Ukrainian community.
