In two months, a Turkish military delegation will arrive in Ukraine to discuss prospects of the military-technical collaboration between the two countries.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Ukrainian Defense Minister Anatoliy Hrytsenko claimed this to journalists today, during a meeting with Turkish Defense Ministry’s defense industry department chief M.Bayar.

“We expect the a Turkish delegation will arrive in Ukraine in two months. It will be shown the opportunities of our military-industrial complex, and we will have an opportunity to discuss the potential directions of the collaboration”, A.Hrytsenko said.

He also expressed a hope that by that time the Turkish side will agree the bilateral collaboration agreement in the military-industrial sphere, and the first session of the joint commission on this issue will be held during the visit. A.Hrytsenko disclosed that the Ukrainian side had already appointed the staff of the commission. It will be headed by deputy Defense Minister Volodymyr Tereshchenko.

The Minister stressed that, as of today, there is a political will to unite potentials in the sphere of the military-industrial complex of the two countries. He expressed a hope that the real results of this collaboration, namely new samples of armaments and military equipment, new workplaces in Ukraine and Turkey, will appear in 5 years.
