Ecumenical Patriarchate to open representation in Ukraine

Within the framework of his working visit to Turkey President Yushchenko met Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I.

According to the President`s press-office, at the meeting sides have discussed development of contacts between Ukraine and the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, particularly opening of a representation of the Patriarchate in Ukraine, unification of Ukrainian Orthodox Churches, etc.
