Ukrainian, Lithuanian Presidents sign declaration

 The sides also signed cooperation agreements

Victor Yushchenko and his Lithuanian colleague, President Valdas Adamkus, have attended a ceremony in Kyiv’s Mariinsky Palace to sign Ukrainian-Lithuanian agreements, according to the President`s press-office.


      The two leaders signed a Joint Presidential Declaration.

      Head of the State Service Office of Ukraine T. Motrenko and Lithuania’s Deputy Interior Minister R. Ciupaila signed a cooperation agreement to develop state and administrative reforms.

      Representatives of the two countries also signed cooperation agreements between Ukraine’s oblasts and Lithuania’s provinces.
