Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin had fallen ill.

"Peskov on Putin's health: He caught cold, but he continues working," Dmitriy Smirnov, a pro-Kremlin journalist, tweeted.  

“Malaise did not affect the president's schedule," Smirnov wrote.

"I can assure you that the president is absolutely healthy," said Peskov.
