Yanukovych, Cheney discussed political situation

During his working visit to the USA the Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych met with the United States Vice President Richard Cheney, according to the press-office of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Viktor Yanukovych informed the US Vice President about the political situation in Ukraine and economic plans of the Government. During the discussion much attention was focused on the directions of energy strategy, relations between Ukraine and Russia as well as development of strategic partnership between Ukraine and the USA.
