Romania introduces free visas for Ukraine

Romania introduces free visas for Ukraine, and Ukraine cancels the visa regime for Romanian citizens.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko and President of Romania Traian Basescu claimed this at a joint press conference after their meeting today.

According to Victor Yushchenko, the sides agreed today that Ukraine extends the visa-free regime for Romanian citizens as for all EU members. Instead of it, Romania introduces free visas for Ukrainian citizens.

Victor Yushchenko specified that this decision will be worked out during 3-4 weeks.
