Ukraine`s Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych is scheduled to pay a state visit to Turkey on Jan. 17- 18 at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported on Monday.

During his visit, Yanukovych is to meet Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer, Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul, according to Anatolia.

The meetings are expected to tackle recent regional and international issues as well as bilateral relations, the report said.

Yanukovych will also meet Turkish businessmen in Ankara and Turkey`s largest city of Istanbul, it added.
