“For sure there will be staff shifts, and some of the consulate employees will be recalled ahead of schedule, some will be punished. We treat this situation rather seriously, as the Foreign Ministry worries about strict observing the President’s decree on the coordinating role of the Foreign Ministry, and in this case, suddenly, our employees deliberately violate this decree”, he said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Mirror Weekly newspaper informed on 20 January that Prime Minister Victor Yanukovych signed a decree to carry out an investigation into the activities of Transport and Communication Minister Mykola Rudkovskiy, who hampered the national security of Ukraine. Referring to its sources, the newspaper disclosed that M.Rudkovskiy organized the arrival of Turkmen opposition representatives in Kyiv in December of the last year. This situation could deteriorate the relations between Ukraine and Turkmenistan, in particular, in the energy sector. The Turkmen Foreign Ministry assessed the arrival of the Turkmen opposition to Ukraine as an unfriendly step of Ukraine.
