His talks with Yushchenko are to focus on energy issues

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev arrived in Ukraine on Thursday, according to the President`s press-office.

His February 2 talks with Victor Yushchenko are expected to focus on energy issues and ways to build closer ties between Ukraine and Kazakhstan. The two leaders will also attend a final meeting of the business forum “Kazakhstan-Ukraine: New Business Opportunities” and a ceremony to open a Year of Kazakhstan in Ukraine.

Secretariat Chief of Staff Viktor Baloha, National Security Council Secretary Vitaly Haiduk, Deputy Prime Minister Andriy Klyuyev, acting Foreign Minister Volodymyr Ohryzko, Energy Minister Yuriy Boyko, Culture Minister Yuriy Bohutsky, Industry Minister Anatoly Holovko, Economy Minister Volodymyr Makukha and Transport Minister Mykola Rudkovsky will represent Ukraine at tomorrow’s talk.
