The Ukraine-Troika EU sitting has started the process of drafting of the new enlarged Ukraine-EU Agreement during a 10-year period, according to the Cabinet’s press-service. Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych disclosed this while opening the Government session.
“We have practically started drafting the new enlarged Ukraine-EU Agreement for 10 years”, the Premier said.
The Prime Minister added that on March 6 concrete work on this issue would be started in Brussels and expressed hopes that acting Foreign Minister Volodymyr Ohryzko would properly organize this work. According to the Prime Minister, thereafter we should prepare for the Ukraine-EU Summit in September.
“In other words, we have obtained a mandate and we must keep going. All of us will participate in drafting this enlarged agreement”, Viktor Yanukovych stressed.
