Ukrainian, Slovak Governments agree on intensification of cooperation
Two countries` PMs held meeting today
Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych made a statement, which was a result of his meeting with his Slovak counterpart, Prime Minister Robert Fico and where he stressed on the need to intensify the dialogue between Ukraine and Slovakia on governmental level, according to the government’s press-office.
Today’s talks have brought common conviction that our relations should acquire a more intensified character, Prime Minister admitted.
The Head of Ukrainian Government noted the meeting has led to the mutual agreement on the run-up for intergovernmental commission sitting which is to be held in three month, not later.
According to Prime Minister, this period is enough for the experts of both sides, on all levels and in all directions of economics branches to work out propositions and prepare necessary documents to solve the issues, the subject for today’s discussion.
Speaking with media people concerning possibility to increase energy carrier supplies from Ukraine to Slovakia mentioned during the talks, Viktor Yanukovych informed that on the level of government heads a political decision had been taken.
After the technical issues are addressed, decisions concerning volumes and terms of supply will be timely.
