The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is concerned about the constitutional crisis in Ukraine. PACE Committee for issues of observing obligations by CE member countries co-rapporteur Hanne Severinsen said this at a meeting with Verkhovna Rada Speaker Oleksander Moroz.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, H.Severinsen noted: “We are concerned about the constitutional crisis in Ukraine, as it may hamper the legal system”.

Speaker’s press secretary Victoria Shvedova disclosed to journalists that, in his turn, O.Moroz informed H.Severinsen about the course of the constitutional reform in the country, and noted that there is no constitutional crisis in Ukraine.

He added that the parliament set up an ad hoc commission, in line with the Ukrainian Constitution, which will prepare a number of draft laws on bringing legal relations in all spheres in compliance with the Constitution of Ukraine.
