Accompanied by Economy Minister Volodymyr Makukha, Agriculture Minister Yuriy Melnyk, First Deputy Energy Minister Vadym Chuprun, Deputy Foreign Minister Volodymyr Handogiy, National Bank Chairman Volodymyr Stelmakh, Deputy Secretariat Chief of Staff Oleksandr Chalyy, Kyiv Governor Vira Ulyanchenko, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy and MP Anatoly Kinakh, Victor Yushchenko and his wife have left for a two-day visit to Denmark, according to the President`s press-office.

The President is scheduled to meet with the country’s business and political leaders in Aarhus on March 15. In Copenhagen, he will meet with Danish Speaker Christian Mejdahl and speak to politicians and diplomats in the Folketing, Denmark’s parliament.

On March 16, Mr. Yushchenko will meet with Queen Margrethe II and Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen, and chair Ukrainian-Danish talks.

The President will also meet with Hans Skov Christensen, Director General of the Confederation of Danish Industries, and attend a business forum involving Ukrainian and Danish business leaders.

Mr. Yushchenko is expected to take part in a ceremony to sign Ukrainian-Danish agreements in the Danish Chamber of Commerce.
