The second round of Ukraine-EU talks on the new enhanced agreement is scheduled for April 2-3, 2007 in Kyiv, according to the Mission of Ukraine to European Communities.
The Ukrainian delegation to the talks is headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister Andriy Veselovsky, the EU Delegation – by the acting Deputy Director General for External Relations of the European Commission Hugues Mingarelli.
In the course of the negotiations the parties will exchange views on the main elements of the future agreement, its fundamental principles and objectives. For the first time the negotiations will take place in the format of the joint working groups.
During the visit to Kyiv the head of the EU delegation will have a working meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenuk.
