Foreign Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk calls on to broaden commercial-economic ties between Ukraine and Russia.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this to journalists during his working visit to Moscow today.

“Recently I’ve looked through statistics, and became alarmed about our commercial-economic relations. Unfortunately, Ukraine, compared to other countries, both of CIS and Europe, occupies the last place by growth rates of the economic collaboration with Russia”, he said.

The Minister emphasized that the key element at the talks in Moscow, in addition to the political dialog, will be a question of a clear economic collaboration between Ukraine and Russia. “This is the first issue on the agenda of not only the Foreign Minister, but also the government”, he said.
