The pluses and minuses of Ukraine’s participating in CIS may be calculated only upon a detailed analysis of the effectiveness of this organization.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s press-service chief Vassyl Fylypchuk claimed this to a press conference today.
He stressed that Ukraine is maintaining a constant dialog with all its foreign partners, including the Russian Federation, about the effectiveness of the activities of several international organizations.
According to V.Fylypchuk, consultations with Georgia about CIS do not differ from consultations with other partners.
“We have been studying the effectiveness of our participating in CIS, the effectiveness of using CIS for defending our national interests, first of all, economical ones. We are analyzing the whole range of the Ukrainian participation in CIS – economical, political, social, and other spheres”, said V.Fylypchuk.
