Session of European Council starts in Brussels

An extraordinary session of the European Council, during which leaders of the EU member states are about to discuss situation in Libya, starts in Brussels today.

According to an own UNIAN correspondent in Brussels, the session of the European Council starts at 11.00 am.

According to “EUobserver” Internet – edition, the draft joint declaration, which is to be approved at the session of the Council, includes appeal to Muammar Gaddafi to refuse from power.
