The two leaders spoke how to develop Ukraine’s ties with Hungary

President Victor Yushchenko on Friday held talks with Hungary’s Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány in the Carpathian city of Mukachevo, according to the President`s press-office.

The two leaders spoke about regional and European issues, especially how to develop Ukraine’s border and transportation ties with Hungary.

Yushchenko said Ukraine’s ambition was to join the European Union and thanked Hungary for supporting the country’s EU bid.
