A 21-year old Venezuelan beauty, Ivian Lunasol Sarcos Colmenares was crowned Miss World-2011 at the 61th beauty pageant in London on Sunday, defeating 122 other girls, according to RIA Novosti.
The girls from Philippines and Puerto Rico became the first and the second runners-up respectively.
According to a brief biography on the Miss World website, Colmenares has a degree in human resources and currently works for a broadcasting company. Her future ambition is to promote and work with children.

She is keen on volleyball, mountaineering and trekking. Ivian was born in a large family – she has 12 siblings in total.
Russia’s Natalya Gantimurova only made it to the top 20 of the pageant.
