A Ukrainian military delegation, headed by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine army general Serhiy Kyrychenko, left on a visit to the Great Britain on 5 November.

According to the press-office of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, the Ukrainian delegation includes top deputy commander of the Ukrainian Navy vice admiral Victor Maksymov and commander of the 24th detached mechanized brigade of the 13th army corps colonel Volodymyr Trunovskiy.

Within frames of the visit, army general S.Kyrychenko is due to meet with UK Air Chief Marshal Sir Jock Stirrup, after which the two countries’ delegations will negotiate.

The sides plan to discuss issues of regional security, developing bilateral military collaboration, training two countries’ units for peacemaking operations, training Ukrainian Rapid Response Forces in line with NATO standards.

The visit of the Ukrainian delegation will finish on 7 November.
