Georgia, Ukraine, signed plan of military collaboration for 2008

The sides will develop bilateral cooperation in military sphere

Defense Ministries of Georgia and Ukraine signed the plan of military collaboration for the year 2008.

The document was signed by deputy chief of the Department for Foreign Affairs and Euro-Atlantic Integration at the Georgian DefMin Kartloz Koranashvili, and deputy director of the department for international collaboration at the Ukrainian DefMin colonel Petro Mekhed.

The document was signed in Tbilisi, within the framework of the three-day official visit of the Ukrainian delegation.

In the course of the visit, the Ukrainian military men met with representatives of the departments for planning and defense policy, strategic planning and military policy. The sides discussed main directions of the bilateral collaboration and issues of the integration into Euro-Atlantic structures.
