Commander of Polish Land Forces pays visit to Lviv

A Polish military delegation headed by commander of the Polish Land Forces general Waldemar Skrzypczak arrived on a visit to Lviv today.

According to the press-service of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, the Polish delegation is to hold a meeting with the leadership of the Ukrainian Land Forces.

Within frames of the visit to Lviv, W.Skrzypczak will meet with commander of the Land Forces of Ukraine lieutenant general  Ivan Svyda.

During the meeting, the sides plan to define practical mechanisms for creating a joint Ukrainian-Polish-Lithuanian peacemaking department on the basis of already existing “UkrPolBat”, and also to discuss issues of joint participating in peacemaking operations.

Besides, W.Skrzypczak and I.Svyda will share experience of army reforming, will talk over further collaboration, and broadening ties between the Ukrainian and Polish Land Forces.

The visit of the Polish delegation will last till 21 November.
